Ramadan school timings announced in Dubai (NEWS)
Dubai, UAE: Students in Dubai could have shorter school days throughout Ramadan, in line with a round despatched to colleges through Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
The school day throughout Ramadan will get started between 8am to eight.30am and end between 1pm to at least one.30pm, with shorter breaks as required. Schools must make certain that the school timings must now not exceed 5 hours.

Mohammed Darwish, Chief of Regulations and Permits Commission at Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) stated, “The holy month of Ramadan is essential to us all in Dubai, and the UAE.
“Ramadan is understandably challenging and exciting for young Muslim students as they seek to carry out their daily routines while also fasting. We wish to remind all schools of their collective responsibility to ensure student wellbeing.”
Darwish famous, “Fasting students should be exempt from physical education (PE) classes and any other demanding physical activities. All students must be protected from the risks of exhaustion and dehydration.”
